Dorota Potejko

Dorota Potejko – Mayor’s Plenipotentiary for People with Disabilities and Deputy Director of the Department of Health and Social Care in Poznan City Hall.

She graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan at the Faculty of Pedagogy, and postgraduate studies in public administration and project management, as well as in the filed of social assistance organizations.

She manages the work of City Hall Departments responsible for integration of people with disabilities, social support for residents and foster care system. For years she has been successfully changing the city, making it more accessible for disabled people and seniors. She constantly strives to eliminate architectural barriers in Poznan and implements rules of universal design.

Thanks to her competences and managing, the European Commission noticed above-average achievements of Poznan and awarded the city the 3rd Prize in the Access City Award 2004, and last year the distinction for activities carried out for seniors during pandemic time.
