Esther Reith is a senior urban planner. Studied Urbanism at the Academy of Architecture-Amsterdam University of the Arts.

Works since 1999 for the City of  Amsterdam on the structual vision Amsterdam 2040, urban plans and studies , including Age friendly urban planning Amsterdam.

Since 2016 Chief designer of  the archipelago of IJburg 2^e fase – Strandeiland.
