Magdalena Gościniewicz

Magdalena Gościniewicz – graduated pedagogy at Jan Kochanowski Swietokrzyska Akademy in the field of care pedagogy and social work, and B. Markowski Economic University in Kielce, postgraduate studies in the field of organization and welfare of social care.
Associated with social care since 1981, currently she is the Director of Municipal Family Support Center in Kielce, Coordinator of Communal Program of Counteracting Domestic Violence, and the Program for Protection of Victims of Domestic Violence in Kielce. She is also the Chairwoman of the Interdisciplinary Team for Counteracting Domestic Violence.
Magdalena Gościniewicz is the initiator of many solutions related to the development of the local support system for elderly and disabled persons in Kielce, including activating community self-care houses, creating protected apartments, activating premises for seniors and senior’s clubs.
In 1994 she was awarded with the Prize Badge of the Polish Committee of Social Welfare, in 1995 with the Honorary Badge 4th degree of the Polish Red Cross, and in 2001 with the Honorary Badge 3rd degree of the Polish Red Cross.
In 2005 Magdalena Gościniewicz was awarded the Special Prize in the field Social Assistance by the Minister of Labor and Social Policy.
