Magdalena Pietrusik-Adamska

Magdalena Pietrusik-Adamska – Director of the Department of Health and Social Care in Poznan City Hall, responsible for arranging and implementation of many innovative social, senior, family and pro-health projects, valued and appreciated in Poland and abroad.

She graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan at the Faculty of Law and the Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) in the field of health protection at Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University.

Currently, she is the Vice-President of the Team for counteracting Covid-19 at the President of the City of Poznan. She coordinates the work of municipal hospitals and clinics in the field of preventing pandemic effects, as well as she supervises implementation of activities for residents, mostly seniors.

Recently, the initiatives she has applied, gained the special appreciation of the European Commission, which awarded Poznan with distinction in the Access City Award 2020 for activities during pandemic time. Thanks to her efforts, Poznan is the first city in Poland which launched the Family Initiative Center, that together with Senior Initiative Center realizes lots of activities to improve residents’ quality of life and provides them with support.
