Tom van Benthem

Tom van Benthem was born in 1976, studied at the university of Amsterdam, now a  Master in political science. Has worked 5 years at the regional level of the province of Noord-Holland supporting cities in their policy tasks in the field of youth and well being. Now a strategic policy advisor at the public health department of the city of Amsterdam. Member of the management team of the public health organisation, advisor to management and politicians on public health, including urban ageing and hiv/aids. Chair of the working groep urban ageing at Eurocities, an organisation representing cities larger than 250.000 inhabitants in Europe.
