Prof. Dr Włodzimierz Choromański

Włodzimierz Choromański is a professor at Warsaw University of Technology, at the Faculty of Transport. His research interests include: control theory, vehicle dynamics, artificial intelligence, biomechanics, new urban transport systems, including ATS @ APM and ATN (Automated Transit Systems, Automated People Movers) and autonomous vehicles. He is the author and co-author of 7 monographs and over 150 scientific articles. He has also conducted over 30 scientific and industrial projects. In 2009-2015 he was the manager of the Eco-mobility project. For two terms he was a member of the Transport Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences – chairman of the innovation teams. He has twice received the Prime Minister’s Award for outstanding scientific achievements.
