Dr Monika Burzyńska

Monika Burzyńska – PhD in health sciences, since 2009 professionally associated with the Faculty of Health Sciences at the Medical University of Lodz. Currently, assistant professor in the research and teaching group at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics of the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine. A speaker at numerous scientific conferences, author and reviewer of publications on epidemiology and public health. In 2017 completed the Evidence-Based Public Health: A Course in Noncommunicable Disease Prevention (CINDI, WHO) course. Member of the team of experts of the STOP-Covid project, representative of the Board of the Senior Activation System Foundation. In research work, mainly deals with issues related to the assessment of the health and quality of life of the elderly subpopulation and the application of modern technologies, as well as the use of statistical methods in scientific research.
