Piotr Sęczkowski – Mayor of Poddębice since 2006. Actively manages the city and the commune. He has made multi-million investments.
The most important is the construction of a geothermal borehole and the complex of the Center for Hydrotherapy and Recreation – Termy Poddębice.
Thermal water is used in rehabilitation, recreation, heating, for the production of cosmetics, as well as during balneological treatments at the Poddębicki Health Center.
Tourist attractions in the form of the Garden of Senses, the Thermal Water Pump Room or the Borysew Zoo Safari make the region visited by thousands of tourists.
